Client had owned the home as a rental property since the 80s. She wanted to update it and create an additional bedroom and bathroom. There was a long narrow primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a freestanding closet. Enclosed one end of the room to create a closet and updated bathroom with new vanity, toilet and tile shower.  Removed walls around kitchen to open the space between the kitchen, dining and living rooms. New cabinets with large central island and repositioned appliances created better workflow. Tall pantry cabinet optimized storage.  Existing half bath in the basement was enlarged and upgraded to include a shower and full vanity. A new closet was added to the adjoining living space to create an option for a third bedroom or semi-private living space.  All new floors, paint, millwork and lighting throughout the home.
